Human Resources Internship
Drivergent Transportation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Department in developing and implementing key initiatives that strengthen our position as an employer of choice. This role offers a hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to contribute to projects that directly impact our team and culture.
Essential Job Duties:
- Plan, organize and deliverĀ training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques
- Assist in the development, design and maintenance of effective job descriptions
- Flowchart processes and procedures
- Assist in the development and revision of talent acquisition processes
- Schedule and coordinate training activities including determining equipment and material needs
- Record training activities in internal system
- Provide leadership assessment, coaching and/or consulting on a variety of workplace issues while helping to improve the client's work performance
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post High School education in Human Resources field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research training operations and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization
- Possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license
Preferred Skills:
- SHRM Certification
- Experience in conducting job analysis and writing job descriptions
