Risk Management Intern
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Risk Management Intern will support the Office of Finance’s Risk Management Department by assisting with special projects and various day-to-day risk management activities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with execution of the day-to-day risk management activities, including those related to information governance, business continuity and resiliency, operational risk, and vendor risk
- Assist with implementation of information governance risk mitigation and oversight mechanisms
- Assist with development and implementation of policy governance framework
- Assist with preparation of vendor risk reviews and maintenance of the vendor management application
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and other department activities as needed
- Attend intern meetings and complete tasks provided by Human Resources.
- Support the OF’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy by following policies and procedures that ensure opportunities for employees and diverse business partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Current enrollment in undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Risk Management and Compliance
- Must be self-motivated and organized and have a high degree of discretion and attention to detail
- Ability to listen and integrate ideas from diverse views, build and maintain respectful relationships, collaborate with others, and resolve conflicts constructively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint preferred
- Experience with risk management, compliance, or general business activities such as data entry preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
