As a Collateral Management Intern, you’ll process incoming collateral files received from the custodian, which may contain various legal documents such as original notes, mortgages, title commitments, assignments and power of attorneys. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for helping Government Insuring process FHA and VA loans for insuring, as well as assisting with data management and analytics.
About the Role
- Carefully review and process incoming collateral files from the custodian, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents
- Efficiently process FHA and VA loans for insuring, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the data management team to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including the use of data analytics tools
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the file processing and loan insuring procedures
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of Transaction Management
About You
- Self-directed approach
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint and Word
