✅ Responsibilities
- Review images for potential copyright infringement and provide recommendations for compliance.
- Analyze copy to identify possible libel, defamation, or factually inaccurate statements.
- Assist in drafting internal guidelines for copyright and libel risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure legal best practices are integrated into the publication process.
- Research media law trends and regulatory updates relevant to digital publications.
- Support the team in responding to any legal queries or claims related to published content.
📋 Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Strong interest in media law, intellectual property, and digital publishing.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or prior experience in intellectual property law, media law, or related fields.
- Familiarity with copyright law and defamation standards in digital media.
- Previous experience reviewing legal documents or providing compliance recommendations.
