Duties:
Performs health physics and radiological engineering, dosimetry, bioassay, independent oversight, and instrument functions to assure compliance with regulatory, contractual and company level requirements.
- Ensures sound radiation protection practices are accomplished through incorporation of program requirements and ALARA throughout project work documents.
- Updates and maintains the Radiological Control Program within the assigned area of responsibility and provides Health Physicist leadership to those preparing documents and procedures implementing these requirements.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Job-Related Qualifications Required:
Radiological Engineer – related degree program. Completed Junior year at a minimum.
The 2025 UCOR Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program held from late May to early August. You must be able to be onsite for the internship program.
