Finance & Operations Intern - Order Processing
Location: Auburn Hills, MI Type: Part-time Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Operations Intern to support our order processing and inventory management functions. This hands-on role offers excellent exposure to business operations, finance, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels
- Process vendor purchase orders and enter bills
- Receive and log incoming goods into the system
- Track and process customer sales orders and invoices
- Enter and track shipments
- Package and prepare items for shipping
- Coordinate drop-offs at FedEx and UPS locations
- Interface with internal staff and external customers
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
