Quality/Manufacturing Engineer Intern
The Quality/Manufacturing Engineer Intern will work with our Quality, Operations, and Engineering departments to learn all aspects of the business. Responsibilities involve reviewing current workflow for inspection plans through the operations department and will have the opportunity to develop individualized control plans to increase operational efficiency. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn capabilities of manufacturing processes including burning, machining, and forming. The Intern will provide support for specified departments and perform general administrative support as needed. The intern may also shadow multiple positions to train in a variety of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in related field.
- Ability to be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to Quality in the workplace.
- Interest in Manufacturing Engineering, with knowledge of or experience reading blueprints.
- Experience with inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometer) a plus.
- AutoCAD/Solid works experience a plus.
- Skilled at basic problem resolution skills with the ability to process information quickly.
