The Finance Intern will support our accounting department and be responsible for the accuracy of the financial statements and account reconciliations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a critical part of the finance and accounting organization to ensure accurate financials and reporting
- Review account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet and Income Statement fluctuation analysis for various account and revenue / expense items
- Identify automation opportunities while proactively engaging and collaborating with accounting transformation team members to build various scalable and transformational processes as well as to support new business initiatives
- Support financial system upgrades as needed by the organization
- Assist in audit activities with external auditors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Previous internship at a Big 4 accounting firm a HUGE plus!
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with various parts of the organization outside of accounting
- Positive team player willing to assist others when needed
The base pay range for this internship is USD $35-45 per hour. This is a set pay range applicable to the specific San Jose, CA work location, within the San Francisco Bay Area.
