Orchard Alliance, a subsidiary of The Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, is seeking a full-time Manager for Business Operations. We are a nonprofit financial stewardship ministry that provides churches, individuals, families, and other like-minded organizations with a wide range of products and services. This position champions the development, enhancement, and execution of workflows and processes that accomplish Orchard Alliance's corporate goals. This role includes optimizing business operations, optimizing information systems, and coordinating data workflows. The Manager works closely with individual departments, the IT Coordinator, and the Junior Data Analyst to promote efficiency, alignment, and organizational excellence.
Primary Duties
Process & Workflow Champion
Lead and oversee the design, documentation, and implementation of workflows that drive organizational goals. Collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure efficient and effective processes.
Project Management
Oversee organizational project management efforts and ensure the effective use of tools like Asana to track and coordinate projects across teams. Lead the adoption and implementation of Asana, empowering teams to manage their projects independently while maintaining consistency and alignment with corporate objectives. While not responsible for directly managing every project, the Manager provides guidance to ensure Asana is used effectively and organizational goals are achieved.
Supervises IT Coordinator and Junior Data Analyst
Lead and inspire the Business Operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ensure IT infrastructure, IT outsourced services, and data reporting alignment with business needs.
Reports To
This position reports to the VP for Operations and Finance/Chief Financial Officer.
Education
Business degree in organizational management or related field; or equivalent combination of related education and experience
Experience
- 3-5 years of business analysis or organizational management experience preferred
- Experience with project management and task management tools preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Experience with non-profit faith-based organizations preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
