Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR intern to assist our HR Business Partner team with HR-related projects and tasks. The HR Intern will get exposure to different HR disciplines, develop skills in human resources, understand HR best practices, and learn how human resources professionals’ partner with functional leaders throughout the organization to achieve business results.  This internship is an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources who would like to gain experience working with a cross-functional and regional team of HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits & Wellness, HR Information Services, and Diversity & Inclusion professionals. 

Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner Intern will:     

•    Assist the HR Business Partner team with daily operations such as:

  • HR Reporting and Analytics
  • Job Description Evaluations
  • Talent initiatives
  • Prepare presentations for Executive meetings
  • Update immigration and mobility procedures

•    Support various HR Projects such as preparing job descriptions, career pathing, engagement analysis. Serve as Intern Liaison for broader corporate intern group 

Create an HRBP “how-to” guide and document procedures / best practices and present recommendations to key stakeholders 

•    Take the lead in organizing events for other Corporate interns as well as gather their feedback on their internship experience 

•    Collaborate cross-functionally with the HR team to understand areas of process improvement and develop ideas and materials (i.e. onboarding, streamlining processes, policies, etc.).

•    Research, compile and analyze HR data; be able to “tell a story” with data and compile thoughtful presentations and analyses for key stakeholders 

•    Ad hoc HR projects as needed

Qualifications

•    Currently a rising junior or rising senior in college, working towards a degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development
•    Familiarity with basic HR and business terminology
•    Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•    Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills
•    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
•    Takes initiative and shows curiosity to learn with a growth mindset
•    Ability to work independently 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Experience working on project teams and / or with project management 
•    Ability to execute and complete assigned projects and tasks within deadlines
