Overview:
Join Pro-Passion Projects’ internship in Accra, Ghana and work with leading organizations such as the Legal Aid Commission, CDD-Ghana, Muslim Mediation Center, and Achievers Ghana. Gain practical experience in legal aid, governance, and social justice while making a meaningful impact in the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research & assist in case preparation for real legal proceedings

Support client interviews, document drafting, and legal aid clinics

Participate in human rights awareness campaigns and advocacy programs

Contribute to policy research on governance and social justice

Attend court proceedings and mediation sessions.

 

Who Should Apply:

Students in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Human Rights, or Social Justice

….Strong research, writing, and communication skills

….Open-minded, adaptable, and excited to work in diverse settings

….Fluent in English

 

Program Duration & Fee:

2-week program: $1,200 USD

Additional week: $300 USD per week
(Fee covers accommodation, meals, in-country transport, orientation, mentorship, and all cultural & social activities.)

 

Included Experiences & Activities:

Cultural immersion: African drumming & dance lessons, cooking classes, local language lessons

Accra city tours: Visit landmarks like Cape Coast Castle, National Museum, Arts Center, and more

Professional exposure: Network with local legal professionals and policymakers

Certificate & Reference Letter: Issued upon request from Legal Aid Ghana and Pro-Passion Projects, validating completion, participation, and practical pro bono legal work.
