Our corporate office in Kingsville, Ontario is currently seeking a Treasury Intern, to join our Finance team. The Treasury intern should be highly motivated and detail-oriented. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within a fast-paced business environment.

Primary Function:
The Treasury Intern will support daily liquidity management, cash forecasting, expense reporting, and current projects. The intern must be able to onboard quickly and add material value, showcasing their ability to deliver timely and accurately on assignments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Lead assignments and provide support for the Banking RFP project.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support ongoing cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial data analyses to drive decision-making.
- Expense Reporting: Assist in managing our expense reporting system.
- Treasury Operations: Gain hands-on experience with treasury functions such as cash management, foreign exchange & interest rate hedging, and debt management.
- Professional Development: Actively participate in team discussions, training, and projects to build foundational knowledge of best practices in corporate treasury.
- Other Duties: Support ad-hoc requests and other projects, as needed, to support ongoing business initiatives, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
Required Education & Background:
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Class standing of Junior or above.
- Residence in the Kingsville/Windsor area. Relocation & housing stipends are not available.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of cash management, forecasting, hedging, and accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and customer focused.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial systems, financial reporting, or data analysis is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment.
- May periodically travel to visit company facilities in USA.
