Your role.
No busy work here. As an intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry level staff and part of the team providing valuation services to our clients. We’ll give you the flexibility to craft business solutions, not just spreadsheets.
You can look forward to:
- Processing active tickets for
- Potential security issues raised by our Managed Detection and Response partner
- Suspected phishing emails submitted by staff
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) requests for access to client data storage for engagements
- Completion of Access Requests/Application SSO/MFA concerns for staff
- Monthly reporting for Phishing test results
- Handling periodic projects, such as the following examples:
- Threat landscape review with focus on describing risk/threats and possible corrections
- Threat Hunting exercises (Red Team) to actively attack for privilege escalation and lateral movement
- Deployment of MFA for interactive staff activities (SSH, RDP, etc) between servers and laptops
- Completion of Client Security Questionnaires for Client engagements
- Development and testing of cybersecurity control tests for Practice Area operations
- Creation of Shadow IT Application reporting in Defender for Cloud Apps
- Development of security awareness campaigns to improve staff understanding of industry best cybersecurity practices
The qualifications.
- Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, information assurance/cyber defense, computer engineering, or related field
- Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
- On track to complete the requisite degree and a goal of successfully obtaining relevant certifications associated with your career field

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
