Summer Camp Manager (SHS Summer Camp Program)

The School of Health Sciences is hosting their annual Summer Camp. In this camp, high school students (10th -12th graders) will explore areas of health careers. Our campers will take part in hands-on learning activities to provide them with fun and innovative opportunities to learn more about careers in health sciences. Each department - Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, Clinical and Diagnostic Science, Human Movement Science, and Public and Environmental Wellness - will be taught during the camp as well as the leadership concepts of ECLIPSE. 

Coordinate with faculty and staff across campus and within the School of Health Sciences to develop camp programs and provide activities. Oversee camp registration including use of the Destiny System and provide training to camp staff. May support the interviewing of additional camp staff and overall organizational management of camp logistics. Communicate with and provide information to parents and camp attendees regarding camp itinerary, safety protocols, and other information as needed. Liaise with the Dean's office, Camp Consultant, and Camp Director/Camp Committee to effectively plan, organize, and implement a successful summer camp. Support the ongoing assessment and post-evaluation of the camp.

Those interested in the position will receive appropriate training for the role ahead of the camps.

Note: Schedule will be part-time until June 2025 when training and camps are held.  That time will be approximately full-time.
