Sales Intern

TI Fluid Systems is looking for a Commercial intern student located at our Corporate Office in Auburn Hills, MI. Our office follows a hybrid work structure where employees work 3 days of the week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days remotely (Monday and Friday).
Description: The Commercial intern student will contribute to the North American commercial organization’s performance through a series of both tactical and strategic functions designed to:
- Gain valuable experience working with a team managing large amounts of business
- Demonstrate vast improvement working with excel
- Communicate an understanding of forecasting and overall sales planning
- Recognize industry/ market trends via forecasting and analyzing data
- Build a foundation for working in the automotive industry using the following tools:
- S&P Volume Data
- Ford WebQuote
- Ford Global Capacity Planning
- OneStream
Ideal Candidate: Junior or senior-level student attending an accredited undergraduate program majoring in Business, Finance, or other related business discipline. Minimum GPA of 2.80. Successful intern will be a self-starter, with a strong financial acumen and comfort level navigating and data mining web-based and mainframe systems and proposing recommendations. Excellent communication skills as frequent interaction with external OEM’s and internal leadership are expected. Seeking local candidates only; no housing offered.
