Wastewater Laboratory Intern

Summary

The Wastewater Laboratory Intern will support Wastewater Laboratory staff in analysis and assessment of factors that impact wastewater treatment operations.

Job Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:
- Assist in collection, preservation, and analysis of wastewater samples
- Gather data from archived documents and electronic databases
- Conduct statistical analysis of generated data
- Take on other tasks or projects to learn more about wastewater treatment and laboratory operations 
- May include some 12 hour shifts and weekend days

Required Education and Experience

Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelors or master’s degree program with an accredited college or university with a related field of study.
A student in good standing and classified by their institution as a rising sophomore or higher
Able to work safely in laboratory and industrial settings, including working around machinery and handling chemicals
Able to use Microsoft Excel or other software for data analysis

Other Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
