IMRA's Nano research group is looking for summer interns to work on fabrication and applications of nanoparticles in bio-detection, photocatalysis, and gas sensing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Major in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or other related fields
- Knowledge of metal catalysis, metal oxide semiconductors
- Lab experiences with analytical instruments such as UV-Vis spectrometer, particle analysis methods such as dynamic light scattering
- Experience with Labview is a plus
- Available to work full time - summer 2025
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in nanoparticle production
- Assist in gas sensing research, catalysis chemistry research, biosensor research
- Data recording and analysis
- Research presentation
- Lab maintenance
