This 13-book series (each book 20-25 pages) is deeply rooted in research and designed to help children develop emotional literacy through engaging stories and interactive activities. For this book illustration and design opportunity, students should possess the following skills:

Artistic & Technical Skills:

• Illustration & Drawing: Strong ability to create expressive, engaging, and dynamic illustrations, especially in a cartoon/whimsical style.
• Character Design: Ability to develop unique, exaggerated, and playful characters that appeal to young readers.
• Storytelling Through Art: Capability to convey emotions and narrative flow through visuals.
• Digital Illustration Proficiency: Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or other digital illustration tools.
• Layout & Composition: Understanding of book layout, page balance, and how illustrations complement the text.
• Color Theory & Visual Appeal: Knowledge of color schemes, contrast, and how to create visually stimulating images for children.
