For this book illustration and design opportunity, students should possess the following skills:
Artistic & Technical Skills:
- Illustration & Drawing: Strong ability to create expressive, engaging, and dynamic illustrations, especially in a cartoon/whimsical style.
- Character Design: Ability to develop unique, exaggerated, and playful characters that appeal to young readers.
- Storytelling Through Art: Capability to convey emotions and narrative flow through visuals.
