JOB TITLE: R&D Chemist Internship

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of the automotive coatings R&D team, developing innovative products for our OEM customers.  Our group is focused on developing next generation automotive coatings supporting the current and future Automotive OEM market. The candidates will work under the direction of a more senior scientist to understand the problems that need to be solved. Then, proper experiments will be designed and performed and results will be analyzed to identify the solution space.

1. Good organization skills with an ability to manage priorities and multi-task
2. Must be able to work comfortably in a team environment and also effectively on individual efforts
3. Must have the highest standards of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage required
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present results to a broad audience
