Supplemental Instruction Leader

The Academic Success Center is currently hiring a CHM 2350 Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader for the Summer 2025 semester. We are seeking an undergraduate student that successfully completed the course at OU.

Duties:

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders attend class, plan and conduct organized, regularly scheduled practice and review sessions focusing on course-specific content, key concepts and test preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree seeking program
  • Second semester freshman standing or higher
  • Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the course(s) you want to lead
  • Expertise in the course content area
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Must be a positive role model and empathetic towards people
  • Must be recommended by one OU faculty member in the subject area of the SI
