Position Overview: We are seeking driven and ambitious college students for our Sales Internship Program. This opportunity is designed for those who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer relations while working with one of the most respected names in the insurance industry. As a Sales Intern, you will support our sales team by learning and assisting in the process of identifying potential clients, presenting Aflac's products, and helping them understand their insurance options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, prospecting new clients, and identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Participate in meetings with clients to observe and assist with the sales process.
- Learn and present Aflac's products and services to potential clients.
- Help maintain and update customer information in the company’s CRM system.
- Participate in sales training and professional development programs to gain insights into the sales process.
- Collaborate with team members to execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Support administrative tasks related to the sales process, such as preparing proposals and follow-up communications.
- Gain exposure to various areas of sales and marketing within the insurance industry.
Requirements:
- Current college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with people.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Interest in pursuing a career in sales or the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
