Marketing Intern

Bravera Holdings Corp. has an exciting paid opportunity for a current college/university student or recent graduate!  We are looking for a Marketing Intern at one of our VISIONBank locations in Fargo or West Fargo, ND. During your internship with Bravera, you will assist with campaign creation, write website content, distribute press releases, and develop other copy; you will ensure that content aligns with Bravera’s tone and marketing strategy.  Additionally, you will help coordinate local events and work closely with marketing team members and Bravera stakeholders.

 

Measures of Success

  1. Build upon Bravera’s digital presence in regard to website content and SEO
  2. Communicate through marketing materials using the Bravera tone while following brand standards
  3. Serve as a marketing liaison in the Fargo market assisting with events and promotional items

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Execute content tasks that align with the Bravera content calendar.
  2. Work with Bravera’s media buyer and Marketing Content Strategist to organize content and fulfill requests.
  3. Maintain the corporate website by making regular updates and refreshing content as needed, remaining cognizant of SEO best practices.
  4. Assist with local events and coordination, including but not limited to community events, photoshoots, and lining up other production staff appearances with local media.
  5. Manage the promotional closet in the Fargo market.
  6. Display strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including knowledge of AP writing style.
  7. Write and distribute press releases, employee biographies and articles as needed.
  8. Serve as back-up to the graphic designer.
  9. Build relationships with employees across the company to generate content and execute project requests.
  10. Obtain compliance approval on all content and follow disclosure guidelines.
  11. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  12. Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  13. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by promoting teamwork, open communication and leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera.
  14. Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Knowledge of SEO and website CMS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent written communication skills

Fargo, ND, or West Fargo, ND

 

Internship Schedule:

This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on student’s schedule.  Hours will be between Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be flexible to meet student’s needs.
