Your Role:
As an Elementary Tennis Coach, you will lead dynamic tennis classes for students in grades K-5, manage their participation, and encourage physical activity in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Class Management:
- Manage classes of 8-16 enthusiastic students aged 5-10.

Teach tennis using provided lesson plans that keep kids engaged and excited.

Training & Preparation:
- Attend a maximum of two-day unpaid training/shadowing session to familiarize yourself with our program.

Transport and set up tennis equipment for each class to ensure a smooth experience.

Administrative Tasks:
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.

Capture the Fun:
- Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress!
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in teaching or playing tennis is preferred, but not required.
- Certification (USPTA/PTR) is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated.
Locations & Schedule:
- Classes are held at various elementary schools across the Bay Area.
- Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly.
