Tennis Coach and Assistant Coach

Are you excited about tennis and love working with kids? Join our team as an Elementary Tennis Coach & PE Teacher! You’ll provide fun and engaging tennis classes for students in Grades K-3 at elementary schools across the Bay Area.

Your Role:

As an Elementary Tennis Coach, you will lead dynamic tennis classes for students in grades K-5, manage their participation, and encourage physical activity in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Class Management:
  • Manage classes of 8-16 enthusiastic students aged 5-10.
  • Teach tennis using provided lesson plans that keep kids engaged and excited.
    
     
• Training & Preparation:
  • Attend a maximum of two-day unpaid training/shadowing session to familiarize yourself with our program.
  • Transport and set up tennis equipment for each class to ensure a smooth experience.
    
     
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff as needed.
  • Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
    
     
• Capture the Fun:
  • Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress!

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in teaching or playing tennis is preferred, but not required.
• Certification (USPTA/PTR) is preferred but not mandatory.
• A passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated.
  
   

Locations & Schedule:

• Classes are held at various elementary schools across the Bay Area.
• Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 
• Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly.
