Accounting & Tax Intern

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins June 9th and ends on August 15th. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The Accounting and Tax Intern will work closely with the Accounting team.
As an Accounting and Tax Intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our accounting and tax teams. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting, finance, and tax, while focusing on continuous improvement in our processes.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Work closely with the accounting and tax teams to support daily operations and special projects.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and tax workflows.
- Gain exposure to various areas within accounting, finance, and tax, including:
- General ledger accounting
- Tax compliance and planning
- Financial statement preparation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Internal controls and audit support
- Develop a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Enhance analytical and problem-solving skills through financial reporting and analysis.
- Gain practical experience in process improvement methodologies.
- Build a foundation for a career in accounting, finance, or tax.
- Must be currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Precisely's internship program is designed for rising junior and senior undergraduate students graduating after August 2025.
- We prefer candidates located in Eastern Time Zone; however, all are welcome to apply
