Paid Internships - Internships Dates (approximate): May 19-August 22  

Location: Virginia and North Carolina - On-site and/or Hybrid. Must live a commutable distance to primary site location. Travel stipend not available.  Opportunities are in-person and/or Hybrid.

Job Summary:

Sentara Health’s Summer 2025 Internship Program offers non-clinical students an incredible opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic healthcare setting. If you're a college student (age 18+) in good academic standing, pursuing higher education at any level, you are eligible to apply.

Our internships offer the chance to contribute to and dive into real projects, support daily operations, participate in impactful meetings, and truly make a difference. Opportunities span a variety of departments, including (but not limited to) Cardiovascular Services, Central Sterile Processing, Clinical Education & Simulation, Compliance, Finance, Fundraising and Development, Healthcare and Business Operations, Hospital Medicine, Human Resources, Legal Services, Patient Experience, Rehabilitation Services Administration, Supply Chain, Trauma Services and Triage & Intake.
