Industrial Engineering Intern-Global Quality Management

Schneider Electric has an opportunity to join us for our Summer 2025 Industrial Engineering Internship- Global Quality Management in our Nashville, TN  Hub location. 

 

Are you an enthusiastic Industrial Engineering major or a major in Applied Statistics, Instructional Design, or Systems Engineering looking to gain hands-on experience in quality management and process improvement? Join us as a Industrialization Quality Fundamentals Intern and play a vital role in enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) while developing your skills in eLearning and Six Sigma methodologies!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Schneider Electric tools to create engaging eLearning modules focused on Quality Fundamentals to enhance team knowledge and competency across multiple functions.
  • Manage and maintain Industrialization QMS documents by reviewing and updating them in collaboration with process owners, obsoleting outdated documents, and ensuring compliance with other relevant QMS documents.
  • Assist in the development of training content related to Industrialization Quality Fundamentals, ensuring it meets the needs of internal training sessions and workshops.
  • Develop training materials and content for Six Sigma tools, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis using Minitab or other statistical analysis software to support process improvement projects and quality assessments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of quality processes and training materials.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in quality management and Six Sigma methodologies to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Applied Statistics, Instructional Design, Systems Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Completed coursework and demonstrated competency in Six Sigma and/or statistical analysis is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Minitab or other statistical analysis software is mandatory.
  • Instructional design skills are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of quality management.
