WHO Is DivInc?
DivInc.org accomplishes its mission by addressing systemic inequity in the startup ecosystem and working as an entrepreneur support organization (ESO) focused on inclusive startup ecosystem building, providing the structural change for women and BIPOC entrepreneurs to access capital, mentoring, networking, and other essential resources they need to build and sustain high-growth businesses. At the heart of DivInc is community and collaboration to create thriving inclusive startup ecosystems. We served over 15,000 BIPOC entrepreneurs through workshops/events, helping them establish, grow, and sustain successful businesses. We worked with over 200+ mentors/advisors and hundreds of corporations/organizations that are part of the tech startup ecosystems. Our efforts have created mindset shifts and helped transform the ecosystem to be much more intentional about inclusivity.
The long-term goal of our work is to close the social and racial gap through entrepreneurship and build an economy that allows for greater equity. By sparking entrepreneurship, we will allow historically underserved founders to build generational wealth, build generational tech entrepreneurship knowledge, and enable BIPOC and women founders to become major job creators. DivInc portfolio companies will generate an estimated $30M in business valuations within 12 months of completing our program. Beyond the direct benefits to founders, this is a major investment in historically underserved populations that is serving as a long-term investment in creating generational wealth and closing the wealth gap.
