Summer Intern-HR

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working alongside experienced professionals. Interns will have the chance to assist in various phases of project management, site operations, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documents and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Help organize employee engagement initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
  • Maintain and update HR records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with policy development.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in HUman Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with construction terminology is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
