Description
As a Servicing Governance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working with our Servicing Governance team. This role focuses on mortgage servicing, financial analysis, and compliance. This internship offers a chance to develop skills in financial analysis, compliance, and operational processes while working on impactful projects.
About the Role:
- Learn about servicing processes like loan modifications, loss mitigation options, and investor claims.
- Assist with financial reviews, document filing, and ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.
- Help process and code invoices for property-related work.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, reduce losses, and ensure accurate fund allocation.
- Support credit reporting tasks to ensure accurate updates to credit bureaus.
- Create reports, analyze metrics, and present findings to improve team performance.
- Take notes during meetings and assist with preparing presentations.
About You:
Minimum Qualifications
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and solve problems
