Camp Counselor

 Summer Impressions Day camp in Southfield is currently hiring for full and part time counselors for the summer. We are looking for dependable, energetic, and creative people who love to work with children. This fun summer job teaches you the valuable skills of teamwork and leadership while you get to spend the summer making a difference in the camper's life! As a camp counselor, your job is to ensure that the children are having fun throughout the day while participating in various activities, while also emphasizing safety. Summer Impressions has campers between the ages of 2 and 8.

Responsibilities

• Greet campers as they arrive and get them ready for a day of fun!
• Assist the campers and participate in various activities throughout the day including sports, drama, art, and special visitors.
• Organize and lead various small and large group activities.

Skills

• At least 1 year of teaching, coaching, or supervising children preferred.
• Loves to work with children and encourage them.
• First Aid and CPR training are helpful.
• High level of maturity.
• Ability to be a great role model.
