Invio Automation’s Solutions division specializes in single station robotic cells, multi-station fabrication & assembly lines, bonding & welding technologies, vision systems, and packaging process. Application capabilities within our Solutions division include thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precision dispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending. Invio Automation’s Technologies division includes highly differentiated Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for heavyweight applications, turnkey assembly lines, welding automation, and custom lift-assist & secure tools for safety critical applications.
DESCRIPTION
Supply chain intern/co-op candidate will interact with our team members within our company such as program management, shipping and receiving, and production floor team members. The supply chain intern will be responsible for assisting supply chain team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order maintenance, and supplier management. Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn how to navigate and use an ERP software in a supply chain oriented role.
- Provide support for ongoing projects supporting Invio from a supply chain perspective.
- Evaluate open purchasing line items with original ship dates that exceed 30 days aging. Establish action plans to close all > 30 days
- Lead daily continuous improvement activities to streamline the shipping/receiving process at Invio
- Work with Purchasing & Estimating Manager and Procurement Agent to root cause purchase requisition (PR) variances vs. released bills of material (BOMs)
- Track late shipments and expedites. Identify and root cause top contributors that impact/delay assembly & build process
- Review and analyze newly implemented supplier scorecards. Learn how an organization analyzes KPIs and presents vendor performance internally and externally.
- Use data to establish cost saving targets, establish action plans, and execute cost savings initiatives to capture real savings
- Track and manage inventory control ensuring ERP data is updated and validated.
- Ensure all customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio
Qualifications:

EDUCATION
Candidate must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program at an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or Business. Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
