Position: Prospecting Sales Intern
Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Reports to: Sales Manager/Team Lead

Job Overview:
As a Prospecting Sales Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with generating new business opportunities. You will support the sales department by researching potential clients, identifying leads, and engaging with prospects to set the stage for future sales efforts. This internship will provide hands-on experience in prospecting, lead generation, and the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Research and identify new leads through various channels including online databases, social media, trade shows, and networking events.
Cold Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce the company’s services or products.
Data Entry & CRM Management: Enter new prospect information into the CRM system and ensure the data is accurate and up to date.
Follow-Up: Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and keep them engaged with the sales team.
Market Research: Gather information on industry trends, competitors, and potential market opportunities to support the sales strategy.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and provide support in preparing for meetings and presentations.
Reporting: Assist with preparing regular reports on lead generation progress, conversion rates, and sales activities.


Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Marketing, or related field).
Strong interest in sales and business development.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
