This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to data integrity and AI-driven analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency in identifying and documenting non-dilutive and non-debt funding opportunities for entrepreneurs. As a Data Integrity Intern, you will play a critical role in researching, verifying, and organizing opportunity data, working with AI technologies to enhance data extraction and analysis.

Intern Job Responsibilities
Conduct daily research to identify and verify business opportunities related to non-debt, non-dilutive, and no-fee funding.
Review and analyze newsletters, social media, Google Alerts, and support organization announcements for relevant opportunities.
Categorize opportunities into predefined classifications (e.g., Grant, Bootcamp, Incubator, Mentorship, Conference).
Extract, verify, and organize key information using a standardized Opportunities Form.
Validate data accuracy by cross-referencing sources and confirming details with sponsors or organizers.
Utilize AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP), for data extraction and categorization.
Perform data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure consistency across the opportunity database.
Assist in developing and implementing data integrity protocols to maintain high-quality, structured datasets.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Maintain and update the opportunities database regularly.

Intern Qualifications/Skills
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in data management tools and spreadsheet software.
Excellent problem-solving and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
Commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Passion for social impact and empowering underestimated entrepreneurs.

Desired Qualifications
Background in computer science, data science, or related fields.
Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data processing and analysis.
Familiarity with AI-driven data extraction and NLP tools (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
Knowledge of data visualization tools.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work location: Remote, with periodic check-ins and collaboration meetings.
