About Us:
Churpy is a fintech platform that integrates with popular finance and business management systems to automate the numerous mundane workflows that finance teams have. In this way, we reduce the manual workload that finance teams have while traversing different tools in their software stack. We are a VC-backed company and the founders have more than 3 decades of experience in fintech and banking.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, client outreach, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and eager to contribute to the growth of Churpy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
• Lead Generation: Asst in generating leads by identifying and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Client Outreach: Engage in direct communication with potential clients through emails and calls to establish relationships.
• Srategic Planning: Collaborate with the founders to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
• Data management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Communicationills: Excellent verbal and itten communication abilities.
• Analytical Skill: Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). We use HubSpot too for lead tracking – happy to train!
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strictly Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Market Research Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.
2. Lead Generation: Proven ability to identify and generate leads through various methods.
3. Client Communication: Experience in engaging with clients or customers, preferably in a sales or business development context.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or work experience in business development or sales.
• Familiarity with CRM software and lead agent tools.
