We're looking for talented students to join our team! At QuickSlot Health, we're dedicated to bringing enterprise level administrative solutions to private practice to improve patient outcomes and quality of life for physicians. We are looking for technical and motivated students to work on core product development working closely with early users and the founding team.

Key Responsibilities: 
-Contribute to the development and deployment of overall system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Utilize the appropriate technology stack, including programming languages, frameworks, databases, and third-party libraries, considering performance, maintainability, and compatibility with existing healthcare systems.
- Implement seamless integration with various EMR systems, adhering to industry standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive patient data, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Optimize the application for performance, scalability, and efficient handling of large data volumes. 
- Execute end-to-end testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, and manage the deployment process to production environments.
- Manage code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide training to internal teams and external stakeholders on the usage and maintenance of the application.

Qualifications and Skills: 
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Motivated and eager to work in a small, fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and industry standards like HL7 and FHIR.
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
- Prior internship or project experience in software development, healthcare tech, or system architecture is a plus.
