Event Coordinator Internship

Essential tasks:
- Assist with logistics for all DEC Network events
- Assist event lead on several Signature Events including but not limited to logistics, speakers, run of show, event fundraising, etc.
- Help create and lead new events/programming with DEC Network Community Partners
- Assist with Community-Centric Events Lead including but not limited to Lunch & Learns, Startup Grind FW, DFW Startup Week tracks
- Work with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to “connect the dots” for event marketing campaigns
- Help Manage “The Network” members
- Help Manage the Events weekly newsletter
- Be a Brand Ambassador for The DEC Network at all events and programming
Must Haves/Qualifications:
- Bring strong curiosity and genuine helpfulness to the internship
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Proficiency in Google Docs & Sheets
This is not a paid position.
