As a Sales/Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in bringing in business, lead generation, and generating marketing ideas that will help our organization continue to grow and expand. You will work closely with our Sales/Marketing Associate and Founder to understand our industry and generate new revenue. You understand that sales is central to the growth of any organization and are ready to take on the challenge. Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services in order to explain their benefits and uses to potential customers.
Find and create a roster of potential customers and partnerships through networking, cold calling, and industry research to increase sales.
Make informed decisions about which leads to pursue.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target schools and educational institutions in the tristate and nationwide.
Brainstorm new marketing ideas and strategies through a thorough understanding of our competitors and audience.
Leveraging our social media profiles to generate sales to our target audiences
Use data to help customers understand how products can help them achieve their goals and provide follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
We know the best salespeople are made in the field;  therefore, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
A high school diploma is required.
Fluency in English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations.
Effective time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting and speaking to new people. 
Familiarity with relevant software, including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, top CRMs and more.
Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods.
Quick thinking to provide creative solutions that address customers' needs and concerns
Deep belief in our mission and vision with strong enthusiasm, passion, and energy.
An advanced or near-native level of proficiency in a language other than English is preferred, but not required.
