The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be engaged with enhancing and modernizing existing server and web applications, write or optimize reports for business intelligence, and explore IoT possibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- C# Development: Discuss and solve problems with the programming team or internal customers, exploring reliable patterns and manageable code. Participate in code reviews and planning sessions.
- T-SQL / SQL Server: Analyze production data to create trustworthy reports, add functionality to manufacturing and monitoring systems, and assist in building an API layer around the database.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Assist in exploring software failure modes and root causes. Work with the development team to find a reliable correction and look for preventative measures.
- API Development: Create and/or consume APIs to aid in easier project development and maintainability.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- Attention to detail and reasoning.
- Basic understanding of C# (alternatively, Java/TypeScript/C++ are considered, as well).
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
