As a Web Intern, you will play a key role in redesigning the WordPress portion of our website to enhance user experience, improve navigation, and align with Diáfano’s evolving brand identity. You will work closely with our team to ensure a seamless and visually compelling digital presence. If you’re passionate about web design, UX/UI, and developing engaging, user-friendly websites, we want to hear from you!

This is a project-based contract role with a defined timeline.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a deep understanding of Diáfano’s brand, services, and audience to inform design decisions.
Redesign & develop key sections of the website
Wireframing & Design: Create a structured wireframe to map website architecture and design pages in Figma
Development & Implementation: Build and integrate final designs into WordPress, ensuring mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and optimal performance.
Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary tweaks
Ensure SEO best practices and a seamless user experience
Provide guidance on maintaining website updates post-project completion

About You:
1-2 years of experience in WordPress web design & development
Strong background in UX/UI design and Figma
Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and implement feedback efficiently
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Experience integrating lead magnets, blog templates, and content management systems
Passion for digital design and user experience
