Legislaide is an AI-driven GovTech startup transforming local government operations by automating legislative drafting, streamlining municipal code research, and enhancing institutional knowledge management. As a Strategic Growth & Market Intelligence Intern, you will play a crucial role in scaling our go-to-market strategy, researching government procurement processes, and using data-driven insights to support business expansion. You’ll be at the forefront of AI-driven public sector innovation, gaining exposure to high-stakes decision-making and real-world market intelligence.

Intern Job Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Data Analysis – Research municipal tech adoption trends, analyze procurement processes, and track legislative changes to refine market positioning.
AI-Enhanced Lead Generation – Use data enrichment tools, CRM automation, and AI-powered prospecting to identify and engage high-value government clients.
Product-Led Growth Strategy – Collaborate with the product team to understand feature adoption patterns and develop data-backed strategies to increase user engagement.
Technical Outreach & Partnerships – Conduct outreach to city officials, legal staff, and technology leaders, presenting AI-powered governance solutions and gathering user feedback.
Revenue Analytics & Performance Tracking – Support financial modeling, customer segmentation, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue streams.
GovTech Procurement & Policy Navigation – Research and analyze RFPs, contracting processes, and compliance requirements for government adoption of AI solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align growth strategies with operational execution.

Intern Qualifications/Skills
Strong interest in AI, GovTech, SaaS, and business strategy.
Excellent data analysis, research, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales automation tools, and market research methods.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, HubSpot, SQL (preferred but not required).
Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn.
