Monday – Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with some Saturdays and some overtime.

PAY RATE:

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr per hour

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:

None is required, but some inspection and/or surveying experience preferred.

EDUCATION:

Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent. 

Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree program is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING:

Good communication skills.  Able to multi-task and work in outside environment in all weather conditions. Knowledge of Word & Excel and other computer programs. Must be able to use math skills for engineering calculations and measurements; able to multi-task.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the survey crew staking public works projects; perform construction related inspections on public works projects; assist the engineering team with design related tasks; assists in reviewing construction plans and specifications; perform traffic court data analysis.
