Plant Health Aide
Pesticide and Plant Pest

Salary: Starting at $22.95 per hour Apply Before: March 28, 2025 Start Date: Approximately May 12, 2025 Location: Statewide and includes travel, including overnight.
Job Description-This position serves as support to MDARD’s plant and pest detection programs:
 Setting and checking box tree moth traps.  Field work collecting and processing insect samples.  Maximum of 719 hours per year and 129 hours per month.  Work days are M-F and the hours per week/day vary by project and time of year.  The position lasts from May-November.  For travel, mileage, hotels and meals will be reimbursed.
Preferred Education and Experience
High School Education
