Internship - Innovation & SKU Analyst

The intern will collaborate with both the Business Development & Field Training Teams. With a strong use of statistical models, the intern will provide support in developing tools that enhance the process of both. Immersed in the Monster Values, the intern will develop a 360 view of the business and will receive all needed guidance for an impactful internship.

Essential Job Functions: 

Product Innovation – Collaborate with the Business Development Team (Front End)
Use statistical models to understand current innovation performance in our markets:

• Analysis on distribution performance and opportunities to grow in large volume clusters.

Provide insights on potential launches for the region through analysis of:

• Flavor preference by market.
• Package preference by market.
• Size preference by market.

Consider existing portfolio to:

• Point out possible launches in similar markets by detecting high performing products.

Forecasting – Collaborate with the Business Development Team (Back End)

Provide support in the improvement of forecast accuracy by:

• Building a historical data base of both supply and demand data.
• Be an active member of planning meetings and keep track of developments.
• Build a checklist to avoid supply delays and demand shortages

Trade Development – Field Training Team & Business Development (Front End)

Provide support to enhance the capabilities of our TDM's by:

• Developing a data structure of the information we receive from Trade.
• To understand what information capabilities and limitations we have.
• Collaborate with both teams to deliver an impactful tool to our teams.

The intern will be responsible for presenting learnings and findings to each stakeholder at the end of the program.

Position Requirements:

• Must be in College (Junior Year preferably).
• Must have a strong background in statistics, data analytics, or related fields.
• Must be proficient with excel and/or other data analytic tools.

Base Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
