Solution Marketing Intern

Job Title: Solution Marketing Intern

Location: Salt Lake City, UT; Blue Bell, PA; Dallas, TX

We are seeking a passionate, innovative, Solution Marketing Manager with the passion for launching new solutions & services to market to join our team. S/he will work with solution management and vertical industry practice teams focusing on two distinct marketing areas – Quantum Solutions and Vertical Services. This role will help to drive positioning, messaging, content, solution collateral, and lead-generation campaigns strategies. The ideal candidate will be a technology enthusiast with the ability to build stories from a base of insight about our target customers and up-level technical concepts into stories that clearly articulate business value for clients. Responsibilities

  • Solution marketing: Work with the Unisys Vertical Practice teams to help identify solution portfolio gaps and opportunities for innovation and to address vertical needs.
  • Messaging: Research and then refresh the current messaging related to our target vertical markets and our Quantum offerings --- value propositions, differentiators, use cases, and supporting client stories, etc.
  • Content strategy: Work closely with the Unisys Content Marketing team to a) refresh existing content (written and video) related to our offerings; and b) ideate on and develop new external-facing content that resonates throughout the buyers’ journey and communicates Unisys’s key value and differentiators.
  • Public Relations: Collaborate with Unisys PR to develop press releases, blogs, bylines, and thought leadership content that help increase awareness related to Quantum and our target vertical markets.
  • Partner marketing: Work with Unisys Partner Marketing to target core partners related to our Quantum and Vertical Market GTMs.
  • Lead-generation:  Collaborate with other BU solution marketing managers to support vertical market messaging and collateral as part of the various Global Framework campaigns.

 

Requirements/Skills

  • High school degree required
  • Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, marketing or equivalent preferred
  • Tech savvy and familiarity with IT background a plus.
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and using customer insights to influence the roadmap and drive effective and engaging content.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact written communications and presentations. Ability to take complex technology and describe its business value through compelling content creation.
  • Project management skills with the ability to own/drive projects to close. Successful at managing stakeholders at all levels of an organization (including senior executives), as well as media, partners, customers, and analysts.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with discipline for setting goals and metrics, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues.
  • Energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work, problem-solve and thrive in an unstructured environment.
