Math Froemke Intern
The Academic Success Center is currently seeking an outstanding math student to work as a Math Froemke Intern. This internship focuses on improving student success and retention in math, which is achieved through being a Supplemental Instruction Leader in a math or statistics course, being a liaison between the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Academic Success Center, developing a project that benefits students enrolled in math courses at OU, hosting math tutor hours and events, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled OU student majoring in Mathematics, Applied Statistics or Actuarial Science.
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the math courses taken
- Must be able to work collaboratively and independently
- Must be computer proficient
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong organization and time management skills
- Must be personable and empathetic towards people

- Attend training before starting the position
- Intern will receive Froemke Scholarship each semester
