
Chemical Engineering Co-op
Join our Propellants Team as a Co-op Intern and gain hands-on experience in process optimization, propellant design, and manufacturing. You’ll work with experts in chemical engineering, develop technical skills, and support critical projects that impact product development and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing processes, data trends, and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Support research and development (R&D) efforts to enhance propellant design and manufacturing.
- Work with Design Engineering to define and optimize processing equipment.
- Assist in pre-PFMEA assessments and process parameter establishment.
- Help create and manage product and raw material specifications.
- Support supplier relationships and supply chain process optimization.
- Conduct data management and performance trending, utilizing Power BI for data visualization.
- Assist with plant engineering trials and material validation.
- Develop engineering reports for process validation and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Basic knowledge of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and process optimization methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
