Geothermal Engineering Internship – Summer 2025 

Location: 4000 W. Eleven Mile Rd, Berkley MI 48072 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM  
Duration: Summer 2025 (Start/end dates flexible to match your school schedule)

Are you a mechanical engineering student who’s passionate about sustainability, curious about cutting-edge geothermal systems, and eager to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects? 

Join Sustainable Energy Solutions (SES) this summer and gain hands-on experience working alongside industry pros in geothermal HVAC design, modeling, and fieldwork. 

🔧 What You’ll Do: 

Get hands-on with HVAC load calculations and geothermal energy modeling 

Help maintain and update SES’s custom-built geothermal project database (originally developed by a past intern!) 

Assist with data analysis, reporting, and possibly on-site fieldwork on exciting new projects  

Work closely with a collaborative team of engineers and professionals in the green energy space 

✅ What We’re Looking For: 

Mechanical engineering student (undergrad or grad level) 

Curious about sustainability, HVAC, or renewable energy systems 

Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (energy modeling software experience is a plus—but not required!) 

Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to contribute
