Make your mark in Digital
The Digital team designs and builds digital portals, platforms, and services for AIG’s clients, brokers, and trading partners. In this role the Analyst will gain hands on experience supporting Digital projects including requirement analysis, functional/system analysis, data analysis, analytical insights, front-end and back-end development. The organization ensures we operate as one globally consistent business (Digital, IT, Claims, Underwriting) delivering end-to-end services locally that contribute to our customers’ and AIG’s success. Analysts will have exposure to various facets of digital platforms and their technology operational functions.
The Analyst will work closely with IT teams and shall be expected to support:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business requirements/user stories and functional specifications.
- Participate in collaborative design, business requirement, functional and technical review sessions.
- Participate in collaborative sessions with customer experience and user experience teams to understand market feedback and assist with developing user journeys.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Write technical specifications/user stories.
- Support application development and delivery.
- Validate QA / UAT and assist in remediation as necessary.
- Assist in release management and release engineering activities.
- Exposure to UI technologies like JAVA, Angular, React, HTML5, CSS is preferred.
- Exposure to relational databases, No SQL databases is preferred with ability to create and execute simple queries.
- Exposure to DevOps and Agile lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of web application systems, and server-side technologies is required.
- Security remediations to comply with security standards as applicable.

What you’ll need to succeed
AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about the insurance industry.

Required
- Candidate for bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2025 (unofficial transcript required upon application) in Information Technology or a related field.
- Interest and knowledge in technology and Cloud with ability to learn new technologies.
- Experience leading business requirements sessions, analysis and documentation.
- Experience on web-based applications, digital platforms and services.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language with fundamental understanding of web applications.
- Analytical, problem solving, written and communications skills are essential.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Strong Interpersonal skills in a team environment
Program Start Date
The Early Career Analyst program will start on July 28, 2025.
