Responsibilities

Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) has developed a sophisticated, robust, and agile manufacturing infrastructure by investing in research and development with the sole purpose of getting crucial medicines to patients in need. PGS has 36 manufacturing sites worldwide with ~ 31,000 colleagues and contractors around the globe. PGS intern assignments are in Pharm Sci Ops Quality (PSOQ), Regulatory Quality (RQA), External Suppliers Quality Operations (ESQO), Strategy & Operational Excellence (S&OE), QSEO (Quality, Safety & Environmental Operations), and Transformation. Roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting quality, environment, health, and safety operations of the manufacturing facilities globally. Keeping a sharp focus on quality and safety all to deliver breakthroughs that change patients' lives.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the OpX Communication Plan including building SharePoint sites, crafting presentations and internal media posts, and tracking communication modality effectiveness with the team and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations and communication.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to improve the processes, tools, and systems of the team, and implement best practices and standards.
  • Supporting the culture work of the team, such as organizing team buildings, learning events, joy, wellbeing activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.
  • Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)
  • Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester
  • Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 5 days a week.

Studying applicable degree (Supply Chain Management  Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering, Electrical Communications Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Business Administration or equivalent and Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental or Natural Resources and Sustainability)    

 

Preferred Qualifications

Studying applicable degree (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Communications, Operations Management, or equivalent); experience in SharePoint website development and building Microsoft Power Apps a plus.

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

 

Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
