Digital Marketing Intern

Ayres is looking to add a purpose-driven student to grow with our marketing team. Internships are meant to be learning experiences that allow you to test drive your future career. We’ll give you that and so much more! Our team is seeking an energetic team player willing to work on a variety of projects with a focus on digital marketing campaigns and assisting with work automation. You’ll join a close-knit, supportive team of communications professionals who collaborate to provide high-quality support to our technical staff. While collaborating with the team, you will work to serve the wide array of technical experts in their pursuit of new clients and work for the company. If you want to learn by working with some of the best, this is a great position for you!
- Hours: 12 to 20+ a week (Monday – Friday)
- Work environment: In-person
- Internship duration: Negotiable, but minimum of one semester - internship could be available until the student graduates
Responsibilities – What Will You Do?
- Assist with marketing campaigns (recruitment, social, email, and more)
- Assist with content creation
- Create and post to social media
- Coordinate Digital Advertising Campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Assist with website function
- Improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and User Experience (UX)
- Page redesign and information updates
- Blog and press release publishing and coordination management
- Analytics – report, review, and make recommendations
- Assist with intranet (SharePoint) function
- Page design/redesign and information updates
- Implement new applications
- Analytics – report, review, and make recommendations
- Conduct assigned marketing research projects (AI assistance)
- Assist with function of automation (limited programming/low code)
- Assist with company signature block management (design and function)
- Photo filing and editing
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the marketing team

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree (2- or 4-year program) in digital marketing, marketing, communications, web design, or other similar related program.
- Junior or senior standing (senior preferred)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and use of the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Hootsuite, WordPress, SharePoint, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Understanding and knowledge of various social media platforms (including tagging and promotional use)
- Understanding and use of artificial intelligence (AI)
